Symposium Venue
The Symposium will be held at the Aula Magna of Casa Convalescència between the 1-3rd October, 2009.
Casa Convalescència address is Sant Antoni Maria Claret, 171. 08041 Barcelona
Casa Convalescència is located on the South-East corner of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, at the intercross between Sant Quintí and Sant Antoni Maria Claret streets, near the Sagrada Família Cathedral. You can locate the place with Google Earth from here.

How to get to the meeting venue:
From the airport:
- By train: Train is only convenient if you arrive to Terminal 2 (the old terminal). Terminal 1 (a new one) is only convenient served by bus. If you come by train, take the train (Rodalies) to Sants Estació, ~ 15’ trip, in Sants take metro line 5 to Hospital Sant Pau station. Airport trains depart every half an hour. Check schedules here. Total cost about 4€.
- By bus: Take the airbus to the last stop (Placa Catalunya, in the city centre). In Placa Catalunya, walk about 400 m to Urquinaona square and take metro Line 4, exit in Guinardó stop. Buses from the airport to Placa Catalunya depart every 10-15’ Total cost about 5€.
- By taxi: About 30 – 40 € to the meeting venue. Tel: +34 93 303 3033
From Sants Estació:
- Take metro line 5 to Hospital Sant Pau station. Take exit "Cartagena", walk up one block and you should see a colored brick modernist building (that is Hospital de Sant Pau), take a right on Carrer Sant Antoni Maria Claret, walk on the left side of the street wthout entering in the hospital. When you get to the corner, that is Casa Convalescencia.
From city centre (Plaça Catalunya):
- In the nearby Plaça Urquinaona, take metro Line 4, exit in Guinardó.

How to get to the Friday dinner restaurant:
From the meeting venue:
- In metro Guinardó take line 4 and exit at Ciutadella Vila Olímpica. If you take metro Hospital Sant Pau, transfer to line 4 at Verdaguer. In Vila Olímpica, look for the seaside, you should see something like this. The restaurant is El Cangrejo Loco, Moll de Gregal 29, 08005 Barcelona.
